FINALLY IT'S HERE! THE CLUB'S NEW CESSNA C172SP

The Darling Downs Aero Club has now received it's new aircraft to join it's already outstanding fleet. The aircraft is a 2005 Cessna C172SP equipped with a Garmin G1000 glass panel . This exciting new aircraft will be maintained as a fully IFR machine and is now available for hire. The Club also offers Garmin G1000 gound training courses. All pilots wishing to fly the new aircraft must demonstrate to a Club Instructor knowledge of the workings of the new instrument panel and this will include a short flight as using the system in the air is very different to what most pilots are used to. Prices are currently $220 solo and $297 dual wet hire with GST included. This is a minor increase in hire cost over the older C172's but you are flying a better equipped and faster aircraft. The machine is equipped with a 180hp Lycoming engine which will pull the aircraft along at 120 Knots TAS. A full leather interior will keep the passengers comfortable and for their safety each seat now has airbag seatbelts. Come out and have a look and I am sure you will be impressed.
